Cakebread Cellars

Since the Cakebread Family founded the winery in 1973, they have set out to create quality wines that pair best with good food and good company. And as a family owned winery, each generation is united by an uncompromising commitment to quality and stewardship. With 18 estate vineyards that span the Napa and Anderson Valleys, Cakebread crafts bright Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, robust Cabernet Sauvignon from Howell Mountain and the Vaca mountain range, Pinot Noir among other varietals.

Completed in 2019, the new visitor’s center immerses guests in the art of winemaking. The spaces are comprised of warm, inviting airy rooms, with reclaimed wood awash in natural light. The winery is the coming together of our winemaking philosophy and warm hospitality that has been a hallmark of the Cakebread visitor’s experience.

The family has always had a passion for entertaining because it provided an opportunity to introduce our wines to people around the table - the best way to showcase the relationship of wine & food. At Cakebread Cellars, we celebrate that relationship daily. We look forward to hosting you!
