Join Maestro Michael Guttmann for a thunderous season opener as Symphony Napa Valley presents two of Beethoven’s most famous works: his mighty Fifth Symphony, often referred to as “Fate Knocking at the Door”, and his crowning achievement of the piano literature, the Fifth Piano Concerto, known as the “Emperor”. Joining Maestro Guttman is the prodigious young Russian pianist Nikolay Khozyainov, making his Napa debut.
