Film: A Place at the Table at Napa County Library

The film, A Place at the Table, will screen at Napa County Library as part of the observance of Food Day. Film directors Kristi Jacobson and Lori Silverbush, examine hunger in America in through the lives of three people struggling with food insecurity. A panel discussion will follow the movie.

Food Day is a nationwide celebration of healthy, affordable, sustainably produced food, and a grassroots campaign for better food policy. Its events over the next month will share a goal of engaging the community in the campaign to end hunger and improve our food system and the American diet. Donations to the Napa Food Bank are suggested.
