Wine Wednesdays at the Napa Valley College Donna Altes Hospitality Training Center offer two educational wine experiences this fall. Wines of Burgundy: A Four-Part Journey with Dan Dawson explores Burgundy’s vineyards, traditions, classification systems, and wines, from Chablis to the Mâconnais. Sessions cover Chablis and Beaujolais, Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, and Mâconnais and Côte Chalonnaise.

The series is complemented by Message in the Bottle: A Guide to Tasting Wine, featuring Tim Gaiser and Paul Wagner discussing blind tasting, food and wine, and common wine-tasting misconceptions. Both experiences offer an engaging opportunity to deepen wine knowledge in an intimate classroom setting. Attendees must be 21 or older and bring their own wine glasses; spit cups are provided. Seating is limited, so advance registration is recommended.
