Every third Thursday of November, the Nouveau wines of Beaujolais are released and celebrated around the world. These young, fresh, fruity wines symbolize instant gratification and lighthearted enjoyment.

In this class, you will learn about the traditional grape Gamay and how it is expressed in other regions as well as how the Nouveau trend has caught on in other parts of the world with different grapes. They will discuss how unique winemaking techniques contribute to the Nouveau style and what foods to pair with this traditional wine, especially during Thanksgiving celebrations.

As the French would say, “Le Beaujolais Nouveau est arrivé!” and as we say, “It’s Beaujolais Time!”
