While American wine drinkers may have only become familiar with the wines of Argentina over the past 15-20 years, the country has a rich history of winemaking that goes back to the arrival of the first Spanish colonizers in the 1600s. Join winemaker Silvio Alberto of Bodegas Valentin Bianchi, one of the oldest family-owned wineries in Argentina, for a tasting of wines produced from the best terroir in Argentina’s famed Mendoza region. Learn about the varieties that thrive in the vineyards planted at the foot of the Andes Mountain range and get a taste of traditional Argentine snacks to pair with the wines.
