The extraordinary dancers of the internationally acclaimed Diablo Ballet bring some of their most stunning and expressive works yet to the Lincoln Theater stage.
The Pas de Deux and Coda from Marius Petipa’s Raymonda, a true classic among the international ballet repertoire, showcases Diablo Ballet’s technical brilliance and artistry. Choreographer Robert Dekker’s Carnival of the Imagination follows a young child on a whimsical journey through a world of dragons, unicorns, pixies and panda bears in this fantastical production.
Last but not least, Three to Tango by dance legend Sally Streets, is a sexy yet reverent exploration of tango performed to live music. The evening will close with a short film, Aeterna XXI, created for the company’s 21st Anniversary by award-winning filmmaker Walter Yamazaki and featuring the Diablo Ballet dancers’ athleticism, beauty and strength.
