Festival Napa Valley presents the North American debut of the Versailles Royal Opera at Charles Krug Winery, featuring Donizetti’s La Fille du Régiment. This lively opera tells the story of Marie, a spirited orphan raised by French soldiers, and her romance with Tonio—filled with humor, drama, and unforgettable music, including the famous aria with nine high Cs. Directed by Jean-Romain Vesperini with costumes by famed designer Christian Lacroix, the production dazzles with vocal brilliance and visual elegance.

The evening begins with a festive reception for Patron Passholders in the Patron Lounge. General Admission guests can enjoy Charles Krug wines for purchase. During intermission, patrons will be treated to an elegant dining experience, while other guests can explore offerings in the Festival’s Culinary Garden.
