This year’s foray features limited group sizes, ensuring personal attention in groups of up to five guests. Participants will receive a copy of A Field Guide to Edible Mushrooms of California to take home.

Before venturing into nature, enjoy delicious truffle quiche bites made with fresh black truffles. Learn the basics of mushroom identification, handling, and cooking techniques, and you can keep any mushrooms you find! Past forays have uncovered prized varieties like chanterelles and matsutakes, along with beautiful non-edible species.
