Join poet Jane Hirshfield and fiction writer Peter Ho Davies for a wine reception and reading at Robert Mondavi Winery. Jane Hirshfield is the author of eight collections of poetry, most recently The Beauty, a San Francisco Chronicle best book of the year and long listed for the National Book Award. Her second collection of essays, Ten Windows: How Great Poems Transform the World, received the Northern California Book Award. Peter Ho Davies is the author of two novels, The Fortunes and The Welsh Girl (long-listed for the Man Booker Prize), and two short story collections, The Ugliest House in the World and Equal Love. His work has been widely anthologized, including selections for Prize Stories: The O. Henry Awards and Best American Short Stories.
