The Napa County Reads program invites the community to a special evening with author Alan Gratz. Gratz will be discussing his action-packed novel “Refugee”, which tackles topics both timely and timeless: courage, survival, and the quest for home. The novel explores the stories of a Jewish boy living in 1930s Nazi Germany, a Cuban girl in 1994, and a Syrian boy in 2015. All three kids go on harrowing journeys in search of refuge, with always the hope of tomorrow.
