di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art in Napa and Shakespeare Napa Valley with Napa Valley College announce Shakespeare Summer Stroll, a site-integrated presentation of scenes and monologues from some of Shakespeare’s most beloved plays, interwoven with the sculptures and outdoor spaces at di Rosa.

Directed by Olivia Cowell, NVC Theater Arts instructor, Shakespeare Summer Stroll 2023 reunites the same production team from the 2021 Summer Stroll, which sold out to rave reviews. “di Rosa offers boundless inspiration in bringing Shakespeare’s works to life,” says Cowell. “We are looking forward to exploring different locations, artwork, and a variety of scenes and sonnets with this year’s stroll.”

  • Thursday, July 27, evening performance
  • Friday, July 28, evening performance
  • Saturday, July 29, evening performance
  • Sunday, July 30, matinee* 1pm-2:30pm
  • Sunday, July 30, evening performance

Evening performances run from 6 to 7:30pm; doors open at 5:30pm

Tickets to Shakespeare Summer Stroll 2023 range from $15 to $60. A matinee will be offered on Sunday, July 30 Matinee from 1p-2:30p and is $20 general admission. di Rosa members, children, and educators, and Napa Valley College students are free for this performance.
