The massive wine country that is Southern France is a never-ending land of wine discovery. We chisel away at it a bit this first day of November with wines from along/near the Meditteranean Sea. Dan Dawson of Dan Dawson’s Wine Advisor, in partnership with Napa Valley Wine Academy, welcomes you to join a community of wine lovers for their tasting of wines from Southern France.
David Netzer, owner & wine manager of The Wine House SF, a San Francisco retailer and importer, will lead the tasting with Dan Dawson. Taste six wines from Provence, Rhone Valley, Languedoc and Roussillon. Sparkling, white, red and rosé will all be on the menu. Maybe a sweet one, too.
These tastings are geared toward both wine-students and the casual, curious wine drinker. Wines of Southern France is part of the ongoing Thirsty Thursday Tasting Events co-sponsored by host Napa Valley Wine Academy and Dan Dawson’s Wine Advisor.
