Golfer, golfers, golfers! The Napa Search & Rescue (SAR) Team is an all volunteer Sheriff’s Auxiliary unit that searches for lost hikers, missing children and wandering Alzheimer’s patients in Napa and surrounding counties. They also provide service during emergencies, such as the October firestorms, where we assisted in fire evacuations and victim searches in the ruins. They are holding a golf tournament to raise funds to replace old equipment such as ATV’s which are vital to performing their mission.
