Symphonic Finale with Festival Orchestra Napa at Charles Krug Winery: Celebrating America 250!

Festival Napa Valley’s Summer Season concludes with a grand finale honoring the United States Semiquincentennial and celebrating the richness and legacy of American music.

Under the baton of JoAnn Falletta, Festival Orchestra Napa performs works from the American symphonic canon, including Bernstein’s Overture to Candide, Copland’s Rodeo Suite, Gershwin’s An American in Paris, Gordon Getty’s Overture to Plump Jack, and John Williams’ Star Wars Suite.

The performance is accompanied by visual artwork created through the Festival’s How I See Music program, where students and seniors interpret the music through color and imagination.

Summer Sessions at Napa Yard returns June 7, July 19, and August 16 from 7–9 PM as part of the Not Loud Concerts summer series, featuring relaxed, affordable, and low-volume outdoor music experiences.

Each themed night features two bands performing side-by-side in a fun musical “duel” format. June 7 brings Vintage Rock Night with The Rockbusters and Dirty Cello. July 19 features Blues Night with Delta Wires and Dirty Cello. August 16 closes with Country Boogie Night starring the Alex Lucero Band and Dirty Cello.

Guests can enjoy food and drinks for purchase, lawn seating, room to dance, and a casual festival atmosphere designed for comfort and community.
