Festival Napa Valley launches its 20th anniversary season with the Uytengsu Family Opening Night, “From Beethoven to Getty to Dylan,” at Charles Krug Winery, led by conductor Stephanie Childress. The program blends classical masterworks, world premieres, and iconic American songs for an unforgettable evening.

Highlights include Ludwig van Beethoven’s Coriolan Overture and the world premiere of a new concerto by Michael Thurber, written for Grammy-winning ensemble Time for Three. The performance also features Young America, a choral work by Gordon Getty, performed by the Young People’s Chorus of New York City. Bouchaine Young Artist Series at CIA at Copia features classical saxophonist Valentin Kovalev in concert. Presented by Festival Napa Valley, this performance showcases the artistry of a rising international talent known for his expressive technique and dynamic stage presence.

Kovalev is a winner of the Concert Artists Guild Competition and gained international acclaim after taking first prize at the Naumburg International Saxophone Competition, which led to a sold-out debut at Carnegie Hall. Summer Sessions at Napa Yard returns June 7, July 19, and August 16 from 7–9 PM as part of the Not Loud Concerts summer series, featuring relaxed, affordable, and low-volume outdoor music experiences.

Each themed night features two bands performing side-by-side in a fun musical “duel” format. June 7 brings Vintage Rock Night with The Rockbusters and Dirty Cello. July 19 features Blues Night with Delta Wires and Dirty Cello. August 16 closes with Country Boogie Night starring the Alex Lucero Band and Dirty Cello.

Guests can enjoy food and drinks for purchase, lawn seating, room to dance, and a casual festival atmosphere designed for comfort and community.
