At Round Pond Estate, the harvest season continues beyond the vineyards as the focus shifts to the Estate Olive Trees. Guests are invited to witness the estate’s state-of-the-art Olive Mill in action, learning how freshly picked fruit is transformed into award-winning extra virgin olive oil. The experience offers insight into sustainable farming practices, the distinctive olive varietals grown on the property, and the craft behind producing exceptional oils.

The celebration continues with a guided tasting of the newest olive oil release, paired with artisan bites designed to showcase its vibrant flavors and aromas. This annual tradition highlights the rich bounty of the estate and offers guests a deeper appreciation for Round Pond’s dedication to quality and sustainability.

Warm up with a hands-on cooking class at Cakebread Cellars featuring cassoulet, the hearty French stew of duck, sausage, pork, and beans. Held at the Winery House Kitchen, this experience includes a winery and garden tour, an appetizer reception, and a three-course lunch perfectly paired with Cakebread Cellars estate Cabernet Sauvignons.

Begin with endive, fig & blue cheese tartlets, smoked sturgeon pâté, and mushroom caps stuffed with leek and fromage blanc. Then, enjoy French onion soup topped with Gruyère cheese soufflé, followed by the star dish: cassoulet with duck confit, Toulouse sausage, and garlic breadcrumbs. Finish with a rich chocolate-caramel-sea salt tart.
