Experience La Dolce Vita at Charles Krug with Festival Napa Valley during a magical evening celebrating legendary film composer Ennio Morricone. Festival Orchestra Napa, led by conductor Clelia Cafiero, will perform a symphonic concert featuring Morricone’s most iconic scores, including The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Cinema Paradiso, and Once Upon a Time in America.

Markham Vineyards continues its lively Third Thursdays series this July with an evening of incredible food, music, and wine. Guests will enjoy mouthwatering street food from Cooked by Gio, Napa County’s first Filipino food truck and winner of the Press Democrat’s 2024 Best Asian Food award. The menu features flavorful favorites like pork sisig, chicken adobo, BBQ chicken, and lumpia.

Festival Napa Valley presents the North American debut of the Versailles Royal Opera at Charles Krug Winery, featuring Donizetti’s La Fille du Régiment. This lively opera tells the story of Marie, a spirited orphan raised by French soldiers, and her romance with Tonio—filled with humor, drama, and unforgettable music, including the famous aria with nine high Cs. Directed by Jean-Romain Vesperini with costumes by famed designer Christian Lacroix, the production dazzles with vocal brilliance and visual elegance.

The evening begins with a festive reception for Patron Passholders in the Patron Lounge. General Admission guests can enjoy Charles Krug wines for purchase. During intermission, patrons will be treated to an elegant dining experience, while other guests can explore offerings in the Festival’s Culinary Garden. A dessert reception for patrons concludes this spectacular night of music, fashion, and celebration in the heart of Napa Valley.

Festival Napa Valley’s Dance Gala at Charles Krug Winery is a dazzling celebration of music and movement, featuring a lineup of internationally acclaimed dancers. Under the direction of Adrian Blake Mitchell, the evening showcases standout performances by Tiler Peck, Roman Mejia, Sasha De Sola, Joe Walsh, and Fabrice Calmels. Highlights include Jerome Robbins’ Other Dances, set to Chopin’s lyrical compositions, and Gerald Arpino’s Light Rain, a Joffrey Ballet favorite pulsing with energy and style.

The program also features a powerful excerpt from Alvin Ailey’s Cry, performed by Constance Stamatiou in honor of Judith Jamison, and the world premiere of Favorite Son, choreographed by Mitchell for Cuban triplets Marcos, Cesar, and Angel Ramirez, with music by Aldo López-Gavilán. Set in the beautiful surroundings of Charles Krug Winery, the Dance Gala promises an inspiring evening of artistry, innovation, and unforgettable performances.

Head to RD Winery for their 5th Annual Summer Moon Festival—a lively celebration filled with community, culture, and great wine. Enjoy the debut of their newest release, the Hundred Knot Grüner Veltliner, while mingling with friends and the welcoming RD Winery team.

The afternoon features music by DJ Scott Myer of A Skip a Beat Productions and a special performance by the Flying Angels, a Chinese fan dance company. Festival Orchestra Napa brings Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream to life with highlights including the whimsical Scherzo, dreamy Nocturne, and the iconic Wedding March. The concert is enhanced by original artwork inspired by the music, created by students and seniors in the Festival’s year-round How I See Music workshops.

The program also features Prokofiev’s powerful Romeo and Juliet Suite, a dramatic orchestral interpretation of Shakespeare’s timeless tragedy. This unforgettable finale blends music and visual art to celebrate the emotional depth and storytelling power of classical works, closing the Festival on a truly magical note.
