Comedian Aaron Foster brings his award-winning solo show Mostly Jokes to Center Stage Theater in Santa Barbara for one night only. The darkly funny show explores Foster’s experiences growing up with a bipolar father and a schizophrenic brother, tackling themes of anxiety, depression, and survivor’s guilt—with plenty of laughs along the way. Described as “a laugh every twenty seconds” and “subversively hilarious,” Mostly Jokes was named Best Solo Show at the Tucson Fringe Festival and is set to be taped as Foster’s first comedy special later this year.

A former HGTV host, Foster turned to stand-up to cope with his mental health and has performed across the West Coast. Influenced by Mike Birbiglia, Maria Bamford, and Marc Maron, Foster delivers 75 minutes of sharply written material—absolutely no crowd work.

Doors open at 7:30 PM, show starts at 8 PM with no intermission. Get ready for raw, honest, and hilarious storytelling.
