Pine Ridge Vineyards, located in the heart of the Stags Leap District, offers a standout grape-to-glass adventure recently featured in the San Francisco Chronicle’s roundup of top wine tastings with wellness activities. Guests begin with trail snacks before embarking on a guided hike through the estate’s dramatically terraced hillside vineyards. Along the way, a knowledgeable host shares insights into the region’s diverse ecosystems, the significance of the Stags Leap District, and what makes Pine Ridge’s vineyards so unique. Each participant receives a complimentary Cotopaxi sling bag for the hike.

The experience concludes with a seated tasting featuring wines from the Stags Leap District as well as other appellations, guest will explore the diversity of Napa Valley. Offered on May 10 & 31, June 14 & 28, and July 12 & 26—this event is limited to 12 guests per session. Please note: this moderate hike includes inclines; closed-toe shoes are required. No pets, infants, or guests under 21.

Montelena Estate invites guests to an evening celebrating lobster, featuring a selection of lobster small bites followed by a buffet of Maine lobster, shrimp, artichokes, and corn, all paired with Montelena wines, including special cellar selections. Attendees can mingle with friends, enjoy live music, and take in the beauty of wine country during the summer months.

Celebrate Independence Day at Calistoga’s cherished Star Spangled Social & Parade. This year’s Parade theme, The American Dream, will shine through festive floats, dancers, horses, and more as they parade down Lincoln Avenue. The Parade route begins at 11am on Cedar, turns onto Lincoln, then Fairway, and ends at North Oak.

After the parade, enjoy the Star Spangled Social featuring a bustling Maker’s Market, bounce houses, climbing wall, mechanical bull, and carnival-style games. Kids can play safely in age-specific zones. Wristbands and game tickets available for purchase on-site, with proceeds benefiting local organizations.

From 2 PM to 10 PM, enjoy live performances, food, and fun. Cap off the evening with a stunning laser light show by ELS Lasers, an unforgettable grand finale!

FARM at Carneros Resort and Spa invites guests to unwind every Friday from June through October with Movie Nights on the lawn at Town Square. Enjoy a cozy evening under the stars with complimentary popcorn and world-class wines available for purchase. As the sun sets over Napa Valley, the lawn transforms into an outdoor theater, perfect for a relaxing night with family or friends. Films begin between 8:30 and 8:45 PM, depending on sunset.

Celebrate Independence Day in Napa with a full day of festivities for the whole family. Kick things off with the annual 4th of July Parade at 9:30 AM along 2nd and 3rd Streets, hosted by Napa Sunrise Rotary. Then, head to Oxbow Commons from 3 to 10 PM for live music, great food, and fun activities. The Kids Zone will be open from 3 to 8 PM with inflatables, carnival games, and entertainment. Enjoy performances by DJ Ren the Vinyl Archaeologist, Momotombo SF, and Wonder Bread 5 on the Main Stage, plus a special Salute to America at 8:15 PM.

Grab a bite from the food court, which will offer everything from tacos and pizza to beer, wine, and sweet treats. At 9:30 PM, experience Northern California’s largest drone show with 400 drones lighting up the sky. Best viewing spots include Oxbow Commons, area bridges, and riverfront parks. Free bike valet and music streaming available.
