Festival Napa Valley launches its 20th anniversary season with the Uytengsu Family Opening Night, “From Beethoven to Getty to Dylan,” at Charles Krug Winery, led by conductor Stephanie Childress. The program blends classical masterworks, world premieres, and iconic American songs for an unforgettable evening.

Highlights include Ludwig van Beethoven’s Coriolan Overture and the world premiere of a new concerto by Michael Thurber, written for Grammy-winning ensemble Time for Three. The performance also features Young America, a choral work by Gordon Getty, performed by the Young People’s Chorus of New York City. The evening concludes with a dynamic symphonic tribute to songs by Bob Dylan, Billy Joel, and more.
