Wellness Week 2022 with Bothe-Napa Valley State Park (Self-Guided Hikes!)
As part of Calistoga Wellness Week, April 18-24, 2022, Bothe-Napa Valley State Park has put together 2 self-guided hikes in the park. Bothe is offering 1/2 off entry for visitors mentioning “Calistoga Wellness Week”.
- Hike – Enjoy stellar spring hiking conditions on the trail and follow 2 self-guided hikes at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park.
- Route 1: Redwood/ Ritchey Creek Loop (3 miles) — this hike will feature the creek, which is part of the Napa River watershed, and redwoods, including a couple of redwood fairy circles. Participants should allow approximately 1.5 hours for this hike.
- Route 2: Coyote Peak Loop (5.5 miles) —this hike will feature Coyote Peak which gives a partial view of Napa Valley as well as an excellent view of the forest canopy. The route is also the best overview of the impact of the recent Glass Fire. The hike starts and ends along the Redwood Trail so the redwood community and creek are featured similar to the first hike option. Participants should allow approximately 3 hours for this hike.
